PREMISE

• Only those who have been united in Jesus Christ will inhabit the New Jerusalem.
• In the Golden Age, all mankind will be united in the religion of Pantheism.

PROGRAM OF GOD

Church Age: Jesus prayed for the unity of all true Christians.

Pre-Tribulation: Christians from every nation and culture, but not every religion, will be resurrected and caught up to heaven.

New Heavens/New Earth: Only those who are united in Christ will inhabit the New Jerusalem.

PROGRAM OF SATANIC DUPLICATION

Pre-Flood Era: The god, Pan, meant "The One."

Old Testament Period: The Tower of Babel was man's first attempt to unite the cultures of the world. The elders of Israel practiced the universal religion of sun worship in the Temple of Solomon.

Church Age: The Illuminati plan for a universal religion is being implemented through the ecumenical and interfaith movements.

Tribulation: The universal religion will at first pose as the Church of St. John, or the third phase in the evolution of Christianity.

Great Tribulation: The universal religion will be nonsectarian because its founding principle is pantheism ('one').

The United Religions Organization, which was created by the Interfaith Movement, will promote Gnostic paganism as a universal religion instead of Biblical Christianity.  The acronym UR was esoterically chosen because the United Religions represents the paganism of Ur of the Chaldees from which Abraham separated in Genesis 11:31. The paganism of Ur and Egypt was a continuation of the pre-flood paganism of Mount Hermon/Paneas.

        OLD TESTAMENT PERIOD

• The city and tower of Babel were mankind's first attempt to unite the people of the world into a global religion.

• The first religious 'brotherhood' were the followers of Horus, the Egyptian sun-god.

        CHURCH AGE

• The word 'church' derives from the Druidic circle or fairy ring.  The 'circle' is very important in the Druid tradition as the center for Sun worship.

"A well-known locational aspect of the fairy culture (particularly among the druidic caste) was the stone circle or Fairy Ring. This was, in practice, how the concept of local churches began as against the more majestic style of city temple. The very word 'church' stems from circe, meaning 'a ring' having the root as circus, circle and circuit." - 722:111

• The Greek word used in the New Testament to identify the Body of Christ is ekklesia—'the called out' or assembly. The Greek word for 'circle' is never used in the New Testament.

'Mr. Morgan's well-known business capacity, exhibited in connection with financial trusts, encourages many to believe that he will accomplish the desired end in connection with the movement. • The one world religion is a revival of the Babylonian one world religion.

  • The Ecumenical Movement is under the direction of the Vatican and the Masonic World Evangelical Alliance.

"The devisers of plans of unification [within the Church], such men as Erasmus, Cassander, Bucer, Cranmer, Calvin, a Lasco, Mornay, Pareus...were defeated in their aims of reunion. The disruptive forces were too strong for them." - 84:68

"Calvin...in a memorandum probably in December 1560...described the 'Free and Universal Council' that was needed 'to put an end to the existing divisions in Christianity'.  It must be free with respect to place of meeting, personnel, and procedure, and bound only by Scripture.  Location should be central to the attending nations. This interesting document offers what is virtually an agenda for the Council, listing numerous points in dispute in the realms of doctrine, worship and polity.  Calvin's council was to be a conference on Faith and Order -- with power.  The Pope was not excluded, but he must submit to the council's decisions and swear to abide by them.  Calvin insists that while a national synod may undertake internal reform, only a genuinely universal council can allay the troubles of Christendom." 84:33-4

"Humanism, which since the time of the Reformation had released the greatest energies for ecumenical thought and action, for a time fell in the background; but in the Enlightenment in Germany, with its Christian characteristics, it underwent a revival in...Leibniz." - 84:92

“It was Elias B. Sanford (1843-1932), a New England Congregationalist with a strong admixture of Methodism, who formulated the plans and held the preliminary meetings which resulted in the Federal Council [of Churches]... By November 1905 his ideas had so captured the American Protestant world that he was able to arrange for the great Inter-Church Conference on Federation in Carnegie Hall, New York City.” – 84:256-57

   “In 1843 a meeting in Scotland commemorating the 200th anniversary of the Westminster Assembly issued a plea for closer unity. The same year, Presbyterian William Patton of New York wrote to British Congregationalist John Angell James, recommending an interchurch conference to outline the truths on which churches agreed. A series of discussions and prayer gatherings led to a General Conference held in London August 19 to September 2, 1846. Eight hundred leaders from fifty-two 'bodies of Christians' in eight nations decided to form a confederation under the name 'The Evangelical Alliance.' The delegates agreed upon a doctrinal statement of basic evangelical views. They pointed out that they were not forming 'a new ecclesiastical organization' but expressing the spiritual unity that already existed 'among all who, loving the Lord Jesus Christ, are bound to love one another.' (ff.4. Minutes of the Proceedings of the Conference held at Freemasons' Hall, London, 1846.)
    “The remarkable fact is that the Statement of Faith drafted in 1846 has weathered the theological debates of the intervening decades and continues as the basis for the doctrinal statement of [the World Evangelical Alliance], the global organization that grew out of the EA. For a century, in the absence of any formal international structure, this statement and an annual Week of Prayer were the main visible connection between national committees of the EA. Not surprisingly, Britain's EA was the major player, with its international connections in the Commonwealth." - 535

   “Shortly before his death, Philip Schaff made a now famous address on ‘The Reunion of Christendom’ before the World Parliament of Religions, in...1893. In this address, Schaff urged a ‘federal or confederate union’ resembling the ‘political confederation of Switzerland, the United States, and the modern German Empire. This federation would be a 'voluntary association of different Churches in their official capacity, each retaining its freedom and independence in the management of its internal affairs, but all recognizing one another as sisters with equal rights, and cooperating in general enterprises, such as the spread of the gospel at home and abroad, the defense of the faith against infidelity, the elevation of the poor and neglected classes of society, works of philanthropy and charity, and moral reform'. This farewell address of the aged ecumenical leader was thus prophetic of the Federal Council [of Churches] of the 20th century, and even more of its successor, National Council of Churches.” – 84:256

"But when the French Grand Orient in 1877 decided to remove all references to God and to the Great Architect from their ceremonies, remove the Bible from their Lodges, and to admit agnostics and atheists, this was too much for the English Grand Lodge. The Grand Orient argued that to admit atheists was the final step in the policy of religious toleration which the Freemasons had always supported; but the English Grand Lodge broke off relations with the Grand Orient, as did the American Freemasons. The Grand Orient declared that by their action 'English Grand Lodge has struck a blow against the cosmopolitan and universal spirit of Freemasonry.'" - 542:220

 

    "This [October] 1986 gathering [Vatican Interfaith Conference], consisting of leaders of the world's major religions and initiated by the pope himself, would represent a visible transition from traditional 'ecumenism' to the new 'interfaithism'...

"At the beginning the U.N. was only a hope. Today it is a political reality. Tomorrow it will be the world's religion." - 437:4

  "A 'UN of Religions!'... September/October 1994 issue of The Futurist. In an essay entitled 'Temples of Tomorrow: Toward a United Religions Organization,' Richard Kirby of the World Network of Religious Futurists and the late Earl D.C. Brewer wrote that 'Religions are now headed toward what may eventually form a United Religions Organization (URO), structured in much the same way as the United Nations and sharing the same goals.' Once the URO is created, they predict, it will be given the task of creating a 'New Covenant' for the planet:

• Judaism

    "...World Brotherhood was 'founded in 1950 at a conference at UNESCO House in Paris and evolved from the educational programs of the National Conference of Christians and Jews, which has been serving the cause of brotherhood in the United States and Canada since 1928.'

    "S. Parkes Cadman was president of the FCC from 1924-1928. He was a Mason and a grand chaplain of the Grand Lodge of New York for 28 years... He was instrumental in founding the National Council of Christians and Jews in 1928 along with Charles Evans Hughes, a member of the Council on Foreign Relations." - 215:43,212

• Druidism

"Executive Director Charles Gibbs has said that 'indigenous religions' would be included in the URI 'the same way everyone else would be involved. ... I was just in Oxford and ... the indigenous religion there is the Druid faith.' Modern-day Druids participate in the URI; the ancient Druids sacrificed people to the gods.'" - 594

[On July 1, 2000] Senior Church of England clergy are to join Druids and pagans at a controversial conference designed to help 'reconcile' the traditions, much to the alarm of Church leaders. The conference, 'Spirit of the Land 2000', is described as 'a Christian-Druid dialogue and reconciliation meeting for the new Millennium'..." - 271

"...the new Archbishop of Canterbury will be inducted as a druid in a 200-year-old ceremony with pagan roots in Wales next month. As the sun rises over a circle of Pembrokeshire bluestones, the Archbishop of Wales, the Most Rev Dr Rowan Williams, will don a long white cloak while druids chant a prayer to the ancient god and goddess of the land. After a trumpet fanfare and the thrice partial sheathing and unsheathing of a 6ft6in sword, a citation will be read. Dr Williams will close his hands in prayer while the archdruid, wearing a crown and shield over his bardic robes, will enfold them in his own and utter words of welcome. That will be the moment that Dr Williams, who will adopt a new, bardic name, is accepted into the white druidic order, the highest of three orders of the Gorsedd of Bards, the Welsh body of poets, musicians, writers and artists. The Mistress of the Robes, Sian Aman, will then clothe him in a druidic white headdress, and a steward will lead him to join the other assembled druids inside a sacred circle." - 595

"Constance Cumbey discovered in 1988 the evidence of a secret meeting between some of the most high ranking leaders of the New Age Movement and equally powerful Christian leaders, including those who were from the cult-watching community itself.  This meeting...was called the Gold Lake Conference.  According to Cumbey's July 1988 New Age Monitor, the Gold Lake Conference was held in Boulder, Colorado from October 24-26, 1987. It was called 'Christianity and the New Age'. The retreat was sponsored by Doug Coe's (Chuck Colson's mentor) Fellowship Foundation, Inc., The C. S. Lewis Institute, Spiritual Counterfeits Project and other 'Christian' groups. Those involved in the Christian world included: J.     "...it was only with Schelling that the medieval heresy of the Eternal Evangel reappeared. When in 1831 he began to deliver his famous lecture on The Philosophy of Revelation. In Munich, he felt himself to be invested with a great mission to announce a universal religion to come, the Church of St. John ... It has been said that 'many a listener... had the impression that he was watching the rise of a new stage of consciousness and the birth of a new religion.'... Like others, Schelling saw St. John as the apostle of the future. In concord with Moses, Elijah and John the Baptist, in the Old Dispensation, he placed Peter, Paul, and John in the New, representing the three stages in the Christian Church. Peter was the Apostle of the Father, Paul of the Son, while John was the Apostle of the Spirit who was leading mankind into the full truth of the future. The first stage was that of Catholicism, the second of Protestantism but the third will be the perfect religion of mankind.

   "In 1800 [F. de Hardenberg] Novalis published a pamphlet, Europa or Christianity. This strange young poet, writing under the influence of Boehme and German pietists such as Count Zinzendorf, prophesied the future new church confidently. He begins, however, with an ideal picture of medieval Catholicism. Christian Europe had once been a fraternity of peoples bound together by one faith. Protestantism had destroyed all this. Medieval Catholicism had been a positive, poetic, creative force; Protestantism was negative, critical, destructive--a dead-letter religion. The inevitable fruit was the French Revolution. But the mystical soul of Europe had remained hidden among the Illuminés and dissidents. To this Novalis appeals in his vision of a new evangel, a new Messiah, a new church. For this regeneration of humanity he looks to the hidden workings of hidden associations all over Europe--Freemasons, Pietistics, Illuminists. In particular, possibilities of the suppressed Jesuit order caught his imagination. But, for Novalis, the new church, although founded on Christianity, will move beyond all previous forms, the historic Christ yielding place to the new Messiah of Nature, for--under the influence of the romantic philosophy of nature--Novalis translates sacramental Christianity into pantheism. Into this new church other peoples of the world, for they only await the resurrection of Europe to join and become citizens of the celestial kingdom. All dogmas and forms will be abolished, for the Holy Spirit will guide into all truth... Yet there must be a new bible, perhaps many, for one need not be bound to one gospel for all time. 'Is is not possible to conceive of the composition of several Gospels? Is one absolutely bound to one historical Gospel?... Is not a Gospel of the future possible?' So questioned Novalis, and it was a bible of this new genre that he planned to begin in his romance, Heinrich von Ofterdingen. He intended many volumes for the poet must carry the new religion to men. But his early death brought his vision to an end. Other near contemporaries among German romantics were thinking in the same vein." - 256:54-56

• Mysticism

"A very important aspect of the secret societies has always been the ultimate unification of the world religions...based on the restoration of the pre-Christian Mystery Tradition, which had been persecuted by the early Church, and forced to go underground in medieval Europe, and that all religions had originated in a universal spirituality referred to as the Perennial Philosophy, the Primordial Tradition or the Ancient Wisdom." - 25:170

"...John Dee...and a core group of his friends and associates...met to form an evangelical confederation against the Catholic league... They believed that the solution of a universal religion was to be found in an evangelical Christianity, which involved a gnostic understanding of the gospels, about our direct relationship with God independent of priest intermediaries. Gnosticism refers to an inner experience that only one can know directly, not vicariously through someone else. Not least on their agenda was a vow to defend the use of the sacred cross from the abuse of those using it as a weapon of persecution in the name of God and religion." - 401

 "[Benjamin Creme], after speaking about the coming reformation of the churches and Buddhism, is asked if he believed this reformation 'will affect the various secret organizations, like the Masons, the Rosicrucians, and so on?' • The universal religion will be nonsectarian because its founding principle is Pantheism.

21-B. WORSHIP THE DRAGON (Luciferic Initiation)

PREMISE

• True worship of God is through the Holy Spirit and according to the truth of God's Word.
• Throughout the Great Tribulation, Lucifer will secure the worship of all mankind through a process of initiations.

PROGRAM OF GOD

          Old Testament: God commands His people to worship Him alone.

          Church Age: God commands all men to repent of their idolatry and to worship Him alone.

          Tribulation: All of the saved will worship Jesus Christ at the Bema Seat judgment.

          Millennium (end): All nations will worship God at the Great White Throne judgment.

PROGRAM OF SATANIC DUPLICATION

Pre-Flood Era: Lucifer, the worship leader of heaven, presumed to appropriate the worship of God to himself.

Old Testament Period: Lucifer was worshipped in pagan initiation rites and succeeded in securing the worship of the Israelites.

Church Age: Lucifer tempted Jesus Christ to worship him by promising him world domination. Satan, under the cover of false religions, seduces men to worship him by means of empty promises. Satan is exalted by heretics to the position of the Creator God.

Tribulation: Mankind will refuse to repent of demon worship; at mid-Tribulation, Satan and his angels will be cast upon the earth.

Great Tribulation: Lucifer, attempting to succeed in his original plan, will require all of mankind to worship him under penalty of death. Satan (aka Lucifer, the Dragon) worship will be final form of false religion into which people will be initiated. Satanism will come out of the closet in order to force the Luciferian initiation process upon the whole world.  The Mark of the Beast will be the seal of this initiation (See: Mark of the Beast 17.B).

CHURCH AGE

• Jesus taught that true worship of God is spiritual, not outward through ritual, but must be consistent with the Word of God.

Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews. • Lucifer, who led the worship of God in heaven, attempted to appropriate God's worship to himself.

The cycle of Initiations was a reproduction in miniature of the great series of Cosmic changes to which astronomers have given the name of tropical or sidereal year. Just as, at the close of the cycle of the sidereal year [25,868 years], the heavenly bodies return to the same relative positions as they occupied at its outset, so at the close of the cycle of Initiation the inner man has regained the pristine state of divine purity and knowledge from which he set out on his cycle of terrestrial incarnation." 209:314

• At times, the House of Israel was involved in the worship of pagan gods.

• Satan tempted Jesus Christ to worship him by promising him the kingdoms of this world.

Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them; And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me. • Satan was exalted by medieval heretics to the status of the Creator God.

  "It was a fundamental Bogomil tenet that the Devil was creator and master of this world. This explains Wycliffe’s well-known Seventh of all the 24 Conclusions refuted by the Synod in London in 1382, one that continues to amaze British medievalists. The other part of the dualistic myth about the pride and fall of Lucifer and his angels also features repeatedly in the works of Wycliffe. True, he called upon Isaiah, obviously to defend himself from his numerous opponents from the Catholic Church. Both Bogomils and Cathars themselves also frequently quoted this theme according to Isaiah...

  Incarnation of the souls of angels in the human body

    "This important part of what is called 'secondary' or Satanic creation in the West, to use the Bogomil terminology, also found place in Wycliffe’s views. He developed the thesis of the dual human nature, i.e. flesh and soul, explaining that souls were probably angels implanted in human bodies. Wycliffe did not reveal his source, mainly out of caution, he just said he had taken the idea ex fide scripture. By this expression he underscored both the orthodoxy of the source and the reliability of the knowledge...

    "...the literature of Bogomils, Cathars and Lollards rested on the cultural tradition of the Orthodox Church." - 790

• Satan lures men to worship him by promising them spiritual illumination and power.

"The logo of one peace organization, Peace on Earth, shows the world with a huge dragon (one Biblical identity of Satan) perched on top and guarding it. A brochure declares what previous generations would have found shocking, but which has recently become acceptable: '...as we enter what has been described as the Aquarian Age, we are entering a time of cooperation between the spiritual and material realms, so it time for us to make peace with the dragon and work in partnership with the wisdom and the power of the earth that the dragon represents." - 11:44,45

"Our purpose is to consciously, deliberately evolve toward a wiser, more liberated and luminous state of being; to return to Eden, make friends with the snake and set up our computers among the wild apple trees." (New Age writer, Tim Robbins) - 449

While they promise them liberty, they themselves are the servants of corruption: for of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in bondage. - II Pet. 2:19

• Satanists use organized religion as a cover for Satan worship.

"The infiltration and control of the Christian religion has been one of the easiest tasks of the Illuminati." - 49:126

"There is a connection between Marxism and a group of Satanists called Frankists. One of the strongest satanic cults to take control over the Jewish population was called Sabbatianism. Jakob Frank assumed the role of leader of this group, and afterward this brand of satanism was called Frankism. (Freud's sexually-obsessed theories came from Frankism.) Frank taught his followers to convert to another religion and hide behind that religion to practice their satanism. (One of several books on the subject of Frankism is The Contemporary Faces of Satan by Ratibor-Ray M. Jurjevich.) - 49:143

• Pagan initiation rites, which bond initiates to Satan, were 'Christianized' in the Catholic Church as 'sacraments'.

"It was Tertullian, one of the earliest apologists, who translated the Greek word 'mysterion' into the Latin 'sacramentum', a term still used in the liturgy and literature of the West by people oblivious to its direct ink with an ancient and almost forgotten wisdom of initiation." - 911:22

        TRIBULATION / FIRST 3.5 YEARS

• What is left of mankind after the seven Seal and six Trumpet judgments will refuse to repent of their devil worship.

And the rest of the men which were not killed by these plagues yet repented not of the works of their hands, that they should not worship devils, and idols of gold, and silver, and brass, and stone, and of wood: which neither can see, nor hear, nor walk... - Rev. 9:20

• At the end of the first half of the Tribulation period, Satan and his angels will be cast down to earth.

        GREAT TRIBULATION / GOLDEN AGE

• The one world religion will be the worship of the Dragon, Lucifer.

  "Lucifer prepares man in all ways for the experience of Christhood and the Christ prepares man for the experience of God...But the light that reveals to us the presence of the Christ...comes from Lucifer. He is the light giver. He is aptly named the Morning Star because it is his light that heralds for man the dawn of a greater consciousness...He stands...as the great initiator, the one who hands the soul over to the Christ...Lucifer came to give us the final gift of wholeness. If we accept it then he is free and we are free. That is the Luciferic initiation. It is one that many people now and in the days ahead will be facing, for it is an initiation into the New Age." Only through the sacrifice of humanity, which is the essence of the crucifixion, can the resurrection be undergone." (Alice Bailey) - 634

 

"That Gnostic Gospel [of Philip] lists five initiatory rites or sacraments: baptism, chrism (anointing), eucharist, redemption -- and the highest of all, 'the bridal chamber': 'The chrism is superior to baptism...and Christ is (so) called because of the chrism... He who is anointed possesses the All. He possesses the resurrection, the light, the Cross, the Holy Spirit. The Father gave him this in the bridal chamber." - 242:262

 

    “Christ gives us a definite picture of the entire process in His own life story, built around those major initiations which are our universal heritage and the glorious (and for many) the immediate opportunity. These are:
        1. The Birth at Bethlehem, to which Christ called Nicodemus, saying, 'Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.' (St. John, III, 3.)
        2. The Baptism in Jordan. This is the baptism to which John the Baptist referred us, telling us that the baptism of the Holy Spirit and of fire must be administered to us by Christ. (St. Matt., III, 11.)
        3. The Transfiguration. There perfection is for the first time demonstrated, and there the divine possibility of such perfection is proven to the disciples. The command [23] goes forth to us, 'Be ye therefore perfect even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.' (St. Matt., V, 48.)
        4. The Crucifixion. This is called the Great Renunciation, in the Orient, with its lesson of sacrifice and its call to the death of the lower nature...
        5. The Resurrection and Ascension, the final triumph which enables the initiate to sing and to know the meaning of the words: 'Oh death, where is thy sting? Oh grave where is thy victory?' (I Cor., XV, 55.)
        “Such are the five great dramatic events of the mysteries. Such are the initiations through which all men must some day pass. Humanity stands today upon the path of probation. The way of purification is being trodden by the masses, and we are in process of purging ourselves from evil and materialism. When this process is completed, many will find themselves ready to make preparation for the first of the initiations, and to undergo the new Birth. The disciples of the world are preparing for the second initiation, the Baptism, and for this must come a purification of the emotional desire nature and a dedication of the desire nature to the life of the soul. The initiates of the world are facing the Transfiguration initiation. Mind control and right orientation towards the soul, with a complete transmutation of the integrated personality, lies ahead of them.” (Alice Bailey) - 634 (Chap. 2)

• These five initiations will cover the last 3.5 years of the Tribulation period and correspond to events in the life and ministry of Jesus Christ.

1.    The Birth at Bethlehem. (Birthing of Corporate Christ/Manchild/New Man)

"The way into the kingdom is found by questioning and answering, by seeking and finding, and by the obedience to that inner voice which can be heard when all other voices are stilled. When that voice is heard we come to a consciousness of the possibilities ahead and take the initial step towards that first initiation which leads to Bethlehem, there to find and meet with Christ. Within ourselves we find God. In the cave of the heart the divine life can be felt throbbing. Man discovers himself to be one of a vast number who have undergone the same experience, and through the process of initiation he gives birth to the Christ. The 'infant life,' newborn into the kingdom of God, starts on the struggle and the experience which will lead him step by step from one initiation to another till he too has attained." (Alice Bailey) - 634 (Chap. 2)

"Christmas, or Noel, the day of regeneration in Druidic belief was originally a festival that announced the winter solstice." - 141:318

2.    The Baptism in Jordan. (Baptism of Fire/Planetary Pentecost)

"John the Baptist therefore gave the baptism of water which testified to the purification of the emotional nature, which must always be a preliminary step to the purification by fire...

"The baptism of John was a step upon the way into the center, and of more general application than is the baptism of Jesus, for few are ready yet for the second initiation. It is preparatory to that final baptism, for the purification of the emotional nature must precede in time the purification of the mental nature, just as in the evolution of the race (and of a child, likewise) the feeling, sentient man is first developed, and then the mind comes into active life. The baptism which Christ gives His followers concerns the purification of the mind by fire. Fire, under the universal symbolism of religion, is ever symbolic of the mind nature. This baptism by fire is the baptism of the Holy Spirit." (Alice Bailey) - 634 (Chap. 3)

• At the Planetary Pentecost, men will receive Lucifer's mark during an initiation rite that imitates the sealing by the Holy Spirit.

And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six. - Rev. 13:16-18

In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory. - Eph. 1:12-14

3.    The Transfiguration on Mount Carmel. (Transfiguration/Divinization of the World)

"It is integration which Christ so fully exemplified, thus resolving the dualities of higher and lower in Himself, making 'of twain one new man,' (Eph. II, 15.) and it was this 'new man' which shone forth at the Transfiguration before the startled gaze of the three apostles. It is this basic integration or unification which religion should aim to produce, and it is this coordination between two fundamental aspects of human nature - the natural and the divine - which education should effect.

"Christ, as the Personality that healed the division in human nature, and Christ, as the synthesis of the higher and the lower aspects of divinity, is the glorious heritage of mankind today. This is what was revealed at the Transfiguration.

"Form, the result of active material processes, must express divinity, and the revelation of this is God's gift to us at the Transfiguration. Christ was 'very God of very God,' but He was also 'flesh of our flesh,' and in the interplay and the fusion of the two, God stood revealed in all His magnetic and radiant glory...

"When we, as human beings, realize the divine purpose, and come to regard our physical bodies as the means whereby the divine, indwelling Christ can be revealed, we shall gain a new vision of physical living and a renewed incentive for the proper care and treatment of the physical body. We shall cherish these bodies, through which we temporarily function, as the custodians of the divine revelation. We shall, each of us, regard them as the Virgin Mary regarded her body, as the repository of the hidden Christ, and we shall look forward to that momentous day when we, too, shall stand upon the Mount of Transfiguration, revealing the glory of the Lord through the medium of our bodies." "The need of a death unto things material, the tendency of man to sin and to forget God, and the necessity for a change of heart or of intention have been the contribution of Western Christianity to the religious beliefs in the world. On these truths the Eastern Christian has placed little emphasis, stressing the living Christ and the divine nature of man... But we in the West have forgotten the Transfiguration and lost touch with divinity, and we should now stand ready to accept from the Eastern Christian what he has so long believed. 4.    The Crucifixion on Mount Golgotha. (Death of Mankind)

"After the third initiation, the Transfiguration, when the personality has been subordinated to the soul, or the indwelling Christ, and the glory of the Lord can shine forth through the medium of the flesh, we are faced with the supreme achievement of the Crucifixion and the Resurrection. Then, we are told, that mysterious Being, spoken of in the Old Testament as Melchizedek, and as the Ancient of Days, will play His part and initiate us into the still higher mysteries. Of Him we are told that:

"'This Melchizedek, King of Salem, Priest of the Most High God ...was, in the first place, as His Name means, King of Righteousness, and besides that, King of Salem (that is King of Peace). Being without father or mother or ancestry, having neither beginning of days nor end of life... He remains a priest in perpetuity.)' - Hebrews, VII, 1-4, Weymouth Translation.

"He is the One Who receives the initiate and superintends the higher transitions of consciousness which are the reward of the tests triumphantly undergone. He is the One Whose 'star shines forth' when the initiate enters into light." (Alice Bailey) - 634 (Chap. 2)

 

"...In the coming cycle, [Paul's] distorted teaching on death will assume its rightful place and be known as the disciplining urge to relinquishment and to the ending by death of the hold by matter over the soul... The emphasis in the future will be upon the 'livingness of the Christ nature'--the proof of which will be the Risen Christ--and upon the use of the will invoking this 'living display.'...

"One of the initial acts of the reappearing Christ and of the Hierarchy will be to erase this particular fear [of death] and to confirm in people's minds the idea that incarnation and the taking of a form is the true place of darkness to the divine spirit which is man; it is death to the spirit temporarily, and imprisonment. Evolution, men will be taught, is in itself an initiatory process leading from one living experience to another, culminating in the fifth Initiation of Revelation and in the seventh Initiation of Resurrection." 5.    The Resurrection and Ascension.  (Kingdom of God/Eternal State)

"The resurrection therefore might be defined as the persistence on into the future of that which is the divine aspect, and which is integrated with the life and consciousness of that sum total which we call God. That life and that consciousness flow through all parts of God's manifestation, the natural world. The kingdoms of nature have one by one evolved, and in so doing have expressed some aspect of His life as it informs and animates His creation. One by one, they have steadily progressed from the inert consciousness and slow, heavy rhythm of the mineral kingdom, and have revealed sequentially more and more of the hidden divine nature, until we come to man whose consciousness is of a much higher order and whose divine expression is that of the self-conscious, self-determined Deity. From automatic forms of consciousness, the life of God has carried the forms of life through sentient consciousness to the instinctive consciousness of the animal; then it has progressed on into the human kingdom, wherein self-consciousness holds sway, until the higher members of that kingdom begin to show a disposition towards divinity. The faint, dim signs of a still higher kingdom can now be seen, in which self-consciousness will give place to group-consciousness, and man will know himself to be identified with the Whole, and not to be simply a self-sufficient individual. Then the life of the whole body of God can flow consciously into and through him, and the life of God becomes his life and he is resurrected into life eternal." (Alice Bailey) - 634 (Chap. 6)

21-C. MYSTERY OF INIQUITY (Gnosticism/Mysticism)

PREMISE

• At the resurrection, the Bride of Christ will have an intimate knowledge of God.
• At the Luciferic Initiation, the unsaved will acquire gnosis - knowledge of the deep things of Satan.

PROGRAM OF GOD

Pre-Flood Era: God forbade Adam to eat of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.

Old Testament Period: God's people are not privy to all spiritual knowledge, but only to that which God has revealed in his Word.

Tribulation: At the resurrection of the Church, Christians will have an intimate knowledge of God.

PROGRAM OF SATANIC DUPLICATION

Pre-Flood Era: Satan tempted Adam to acquire gnosis, the forbidden knowledge of spiritual things.

Old Testament Period: Plato inspired Greek philosophy based on the mystery religion of Atlantis; Alexander the Great brought Platonism to  the Middle East; Neo-Platonism developed in the Gnostic academia of Alexandria, Egypt.

Church Age: Alexandrian Gnostics infiltrated the early churches with their false doctrines of Neo-Platonism. Gnosticism is the goal of the ecumenical movement.

Tribulation: Gnostic mysticism will be the basis for the final reformation of religion.

Great Tribulation: Gnostic mysticism will lead mankind into the Luciferic initiation with the delusion of becoming gods.

And the LORD God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed. And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.- Gen. 2:8,9,16,17

OLD TESTAMENT
