Two hundred years ago, the German philosopher Georg Hegel propounded the Dialectical Theory upon which Karl Marx based his concept of "dialectical materialism." Hegel maintained that the history of mankind is evolving progressively to a point of total harmony through the recurring synthesis of opposing ideas. Practical implementation of Hegel's dialectic in the socialist experiment has succeeded in dismantling existing systems by mobilizing public opinion and transforming it into an instrument of the revolution. Global planners are now in the final stages of engineering worldwide social change through the same dialectical process. The mechanism, so successful in Communist China, was the cell group, and today we find various interest groups in the workforce, education and religion being subjected to the dialectical technique used in times past.

The appended article explains how the "The Process" occurs in group settings. In business and education, it is disguised by professional-sounding names such as Total Quality Management, Outcome-Based Education, School-To-Work, and Character Education. The dialectical process is found operating in the Christian community through the agency of parachurch groups, church cell groups, Internet forums and other interactive groups in which change agents manipulate unsuspecting participants into accepting a new belief system. Some Bible studies even fall into this category, as our report on Bible Study Fellowship reveals.

To achieve religious consensus, the global planners must first dismantle the old methodologies and church structures, replacing them with more "open" and "interactive" forms. The Open Church Ministries is a model of this restructuring process, creating discontent with orthodoxy and demand for change. Like the serpent in the garden, change-agents subtly inquire after the following manner: "Christian, are you unhappy because the worship service at your church is devoted solely to traditional hymns and the sermons on the Word of God? Do you want a greater voice in the worship service and church affairs? You need the Open Church concept, a new style of church where the laity is in charge and the pastor is relieved of his responsibilities so he can do the things he enjoys. Say goodbye forever to Spectator Christianity -- in the Open Church you can interrupt the service whenever you wish to speak or fellowship instead." [The foregoing is a modest paraphrase of the seditious content found on the website of Open Church Ministries.]

Open Church and other New Wave ministries neglect to mention that the new model of participatory membership involves the accountability of individual church members to unscripturally appointed leaders for purposes of control. Cell groups are the primary means of keeping close tabs on the personal lives of church members and group leaders are trained to keep databases of personal information on cell group members. [See: Fuller Theological Seminary for more information on the databasing of Christians.] Although the Open Church and other New Wave ministries claim to be taking the Church back to the New Testament model, the Cell Track software marketed by TOUCH Outreach Ministries for cell-based churches demonstrates that the Church is instead being prepared for the Brave New World!

Whether "The Process" is occurring on the governmental, educational or church level, the objective is to dismantle present structures and replace them with the new paradigm. For the dialectic to work properly, those who are being processed must be persuaded that reform is needed and then invited to participate in bringing about a "new reformation."  It is crucial that participants think that they are in control of the process, when in fact they are not. Rather, the forum for exchange of ideas is carefully guided by a "facilitator" who has been trained to move the group to "consensus." Although the opinions of group members are initially solicited, the discussion does not begin at ground zero or allow for a free flow of ideas.  From the beginning, the facilitator frames the topic of discussion in a biased context and then skillfully carries the process along to its desired end --- consensus.

The following article was written to help Christians to recognize if they are already being processed in such a group situation and also to avoid future induction into the dialectic, which is designed to divest them of Biblical faith. The author, Jeannie Georges, states:

"The following outline has been prepared for those many Christians who are being thrown into accountability groups, cell groups, teams, and other psychological manipulative situations that use a process that is never defined and they can't understand. The structure is basically the same - only the name varies. If you have been in a process situation, you should recognize it. This is meant to encourage you to stand against the process by helping you understand that it is a biblical issue that you shouldn't participate in."

Group Accountability or Self Policing?

So, you're part of a team or a group or a cell - do you know the process that's ahead?

Let's assume you haven't gone to your first meeting. That will most likely mean you don't know about the process that will be used in the group. (It's usually described as a process that is difficult to define.) Or perhaps the structure has just been set up and the process will not begin for awhile. The following is basically how the process works.

First a group is brought together.

This can be a class in school or college, employees at any business, legislators, church groups, prisoners, or any other diverse group of people. They must have a facilitator. This person must be trained to facilitate. He must be capable of getting you to where he wants you to go without you knowing it. Positive reinforcement works best. It even works while you still have your God-given inhibitions, your common sense and your mind is clear. Later, as you trust him more, you'll lose these attributes and, by design, a mental fog will set in.

A certain amount of unearned trust has already been placed in the facilitator. And, why not? Your boss or your study leader or the political party big-wig enrolled you. So when the group gets together, the first order of business will be some sort of ice breaker. A foolish game, that any six year old would love, might start the day. Because everyone is feeling foolish and embarrassed (you can't tell the wife you played pitch 'n catch with the secretary), this will lead to laughing and more foolishness.

Everyone is supposed to assume that they are in a non-threatening environment so they can be "free to be me." This begins the loss of common sense and proper inhibitions. (No one is to be suspicious that the facilitator is psychologically evaluating each person during the ice breaker - just trust him. This evaluation will be helpful to him when he is trying to get you to come to consensus on something you know you are right about.)

Then it's time to expose your privacy.

Everyone can either tell something about themselves that they have previously kept to themselves or the group may start taking written psychological evaluations. They may give some of the papers back; they may not even take all the papers for recording. After all, they are trying to show themselves as your friend - just as the prison guards who gave prisoners cigarettes did.

Another time, another day, another session - you talk more. Everyone talks more. You notice your buddy is telling things he has never told you - embarrassing things. He's crying! You can't believe he would do this; it isn't like him. You don't exactly know what to say to him once you are free of the facilitator. As usual, you certainly don't go home and tell the wife. You're all a team. Gotta keep the secrets!

Then it happens to you. You've talked too much. How could you have told something so private? Will the other team members keep your secret? You're certain that guy who never liked you will tell. What if your wife finds out? You wish you didn't have to go back to the group sessions (unless by now you have become dependent on the group.) But you will have to go back, year after year, month after month, week after week. The process needs lots of reinforcement. You're partners with the group; you've told them your secrets. Your wife could never be your partner and confidant like this. How absurd, you couldn't tell her the things you told the group! (And she might consider leaving you if she knew what you told.)

Now you are accountable.

Peer pressure got you this far; peer dependency will keep you here. Positive reinforcement will now become an every day occurrence - employee of the week, best suggestion of the month, points for taking your flu shot, days off for getting to work on time. There's no increase in production. You're watching middle management leave. Actually, if you just look at the business operation, things don't look too good. But, everyone is so happy - or so they seem. It's been five or eight or ten years since you followed that facilitator, not knowing where he was going.

Now you detest the job, you dislike going to work, you can't stand your fellow employees and worse than anything - you can't be yourself, not in your office, not in the lunch room and not in the restroom, not even at home. Someone in your group might find out you did something the group considers unacceptable. Bad employee morale will keep everyone from getting a pay increase (negative reinforcement), so you keep smiling. What you are experiencing is called self-policing. If you feel like a caged animal, you can try to escape. That is, if you still think you can make it on your own - without the consent, approval, help and support of your group.

Edward Hunter, author of "Brainwashing: The Story of Men Who Defied It" and Brainwashing in Red China, explained what the group sessions were for, how they were conducted, what happened and why it worked. So it hasn't been necessary for Americans to suffer the mental trauma caused by the use of this process. The Russians developed it, the Chinese used it. Now modified and refined, it's used in the U.S.A.

This brainwashing process brought American prisoners of war together and made them dependent on each other. Then, after they talked too much, they began to realize they couldn't trust each other at all. They didn't plan an escape, because they knew it would be reported by someone. Maybe it would be the weak soul who cried when he was given candy or a cigarette by a guard (positive reinforcement); maybe it would be the one who feared being beaten or tied out in the snow (negative reinforcement). At any rate, when the Chinese used this technique on the Americans who were held prisoners in North Korea they held hundreds of men captive with only a handful of guards. Prisoners policed themselves and escapes were not attempted.

The United States, upon seeing the results of the brainwashing, developed a military code of conduct. This code stated that a prisoner of war was to give his name, rank and serial number (that meant "zip the lip") and he was to try to escape at every opportunity -- a good idea for anyone caught in the process. If the government would have explained the code to all the men and women who have been in the military since the code was developed, perhaps we wouldn't see Viet Nam veterans turning their common sense, integrity and will over to the same process that was used on the Americans held POW in Korea. Few Americans understand that this brainwashing process not only held men captive during the war, because they policed themselves, but there were also men who stayed in North Korea after the war for the same reason.

B.F. Skinner, the behaviorist who believed people could and should be trained just as a pigeon is, wrote in Walden Two: "Now that we know how positive reinforcement works,...we can be more deliberate and hence more successful, in our cultural design. We can achieve a sort of control under which the controlled, though they are following a code much more scrupulously than was ever the case under the old system nevertheless feels free. They are doing what they want to do, not what they are forced to do. That's the source of the tremendous power of positive reinforcement - there's no restraint and no revolt. By a careful cultural design, we control not the final behavior, but the inclination to behave-the motives, the desires, the wishes. The curious thing is that...the question of freedom never arises." (emphasis added)

Indeed, when one man gains power over another - enough power to control the other's desires, beliefs, attitudes, and behavior - the powerless one has lost all freedom. A few of the choices lost are: place of employment, kind of employment, property ownership, rights of assembly, travel, residence, and speech. Other freedoms lost include religion: freedom to believe The Word of God, freedom to repent, freedom to accept the risen Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, freedom to follow and obey the written Word of God and freedom to tell others of His saving grace.

There are some battles which must be fought to protect yourself and your family, friends and neighbors. But the battle for freedom is not with man, but with powers and principalities that we neither see nor understand. So pick your battles carefully. And above all other things, fight the battle that is raging for the souls of men - because that is the commodity that is being merchandised today* with unaccountable amounts of money through OBE, TQM, School to Work, and many other civic and religious programs that are used by the United Nations, United Religions and governments all over the world.

Now you know, at least in part, what the process group is set up for. Beat it - zip the lip and run for the nearest escape route. ('Zip the lip' also includes zipping up all other avenues of self disclosure such as answering surveys and questionnaires - whether at work, school, market place or church.)

* The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto John states that the day is coming when the economy will be so bad that merchants will weep over the fact that they can no longer sell souls of men. "And the merchants of the earth shall weep and mourn over her; for no man buyeth their merchandise any more: The merchandise of gold, and silver, and precious stones, ... and beasts, and sheep, and horses, and chariots, and slaves, and souls of men." Rev. 18:11-13


To: Those who are hearing about a process - but they don't know if it affects one's Christian walk. Not only is the structure not biblical - but the process is condemned biblically.

Proverbs 14:12 There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.

If you ask to be excused from the process, simply state: "I would sin if I were to participate, therefore I can't participate." To explain much further would simply draw you into the dialogue process which would bring you to consensus. (They will, no doubt, assure you that they aren't doing consensus, or that their process isn't the same as the other processes you've heard about. Double speak, such as this, is part of the process.) Those in the process are dialectic thinkers, so they will process any logical statement you make. Seek truth and use discernment. It will often be best to say nothing.

Matthew 7:6 Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you.


Consensus building can't accept right and wrong or true and false. Everything is somewhere in between. Consensus building affects one's thinking process. It replaces content with process and instruction with discussion or dialogue.

Proverbs 4:11 I have taught thee in the way of wisdom; I have led thee in right paths.

Proverbs 16:8 Better is a little with righteousness than great revenues without right.

Proverbs 4:13 Take fast hold of instruction; let her not go: keep her; for she is thy life.

Colossians 2:4 And this I say, lest any man should beguile you with enticing words.

Colossians 2:8 Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world and not after Christ.

Proverbs 24:3-4 Through wisdom is an house builded; and by understanding it is established: And by knowledge shall the chambers be filled with all precious and pleasant riches.

Consensus is built through dialogue - not facts nor wisdom nor knowledge. No where is this better illustrated than in the Bible. Jesus gave us the example to follow after he had fasted forty days and forty nights. When the tempter came to him - ready to negotiate or dialogue - Jesus simply stated "it is written," (Matthew 4:4). Eve gave us the example to avoid. When the serpent came to dialogue with her, she gave him her interpretation of what God meant (Genesis 3:2-6) when He spoke. Eve proved for us, that when a thing has already been decided, that is - it is absolute, true or right - there is no earthly use in discussing it.

Proverbs 14:23 In all labour there is profit: but the talk of the lips tendeth only to penury.

Ecclesiastes 10:12-14a The words of a wise man's mouth are gracious; but the lips of a fool will swallow up himself. The beginning of the words of his mouth is foolishness; and the end of his talk is mischievous madness.

Peace Proponents of TQM believe the process will bring about peace. Because no one will have any belief they will stand up for, there will be nothing to fight or argue about.

I Thessalonians 5:3 For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them...

Ice Breakers

Ice breakers are those foolish or juvenile games the facilitator makes participants play in order to shake them from their common sense, their God-given inhibitions and their western (biblical) teachings such as - a man is not to be trusted until he has first proven himself to be trustworthy.

Proverbs 24:9 The thought of foolishness is sin: and the scorner is an abomination to men.

Ephesians 5: 15-16 See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.


Bonding with the group or team is an essential part of the process. The bonding is necessary to give the participants the 'feeling' that they are one and the 'one' is working for common ground or a common goal. This makes the team more manageable so they can come to a consensus on any topic.

II Corinthians 6:14-17 warns "Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers..."


This is perhaps the major cord that holds the process together. The process will not work very well without the participants giving their trust - first to the employer, teacher, supervisor or other leader who has taken them into the process - next to the facilitator who only gains their trust because of that person who brought the participant in - and then to other participants who they may or may not know well enough to know if they are trustworthy. There are many verses in the Bible which warn against trusting people. These verses are but a few of them.

Micah 7: 5 Trust ye not in a friend, put ye not confidence in a guide: keep the doors of thy mouth from her that lieth in thy bosom.

Psalm 146: 3 Put not your trust in princes, nor in the son of man, in whom there is no help.

Jeremiah 9:4 Take ye heed every one of his neighbour, and trust ye not in any brother; for every brother will utterly supplant, and every neighbour will walk with slanders.

Is it today as it was in the days of Isaiah? He wrote: "none calleth for justice, nor any pleadeth for truth; they trust in vanity, and speak lies; they conceive mischief, and bring forth iniquity."(59:4)

Or will some say "cause me to hear thy lovingkindness in the morning; for in thee do I trust: cause me to know the way wherein I should walk; for I lift up my soul unto thee. (Psalm 143:8)

II Samuel 22:31 As for God, his way is perfect; the word of the Lord is tried: he is a buckler to all them that trust in him.

Psalm 40:4 Blessed is that man that maketh the Lord his trust, and respecteth not the proud, nor such as turn aside to lies.

Psalm 56:11 In God have I put my trust: I will not be afraid what man can do unto me.

Psalm 64:10 The righteous shall be glad in the Lord, and shall trust in him;...

Psalm 118:8-9 It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man. It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in princes.

Proverbs 29: 25 The fear of man bringeth a snare: but whoso putteth his trust in the Lord shall be safe.

I Timothy 6:20-21 O Timothy, keep that which is committed to thy trust avoiding profane and vain babblings, and oppositions of science falsely so called. Which some professing have erred concerning the faith.

Becoming double-minded

When one participates in this process, even knowing it isn't to be trusted, it is probable that he may become double-minded. That is, he may hold two opposite views in his head at the same time. He may believe the Bible and, in a church or biblical setting, he may completely agree that man is not trustworthy because he is born with a sin nature. However, in his group, cell or team setting, he may deplore the lack of trust among fellow participants.

James 1:8 A double-minded man is unstable in all his ways.

James 4:8 Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double-minded.


Groups or teams are supposed to keep each other accountable to the group standards. Even when the standards are biblical, the structure (which isn't biblical) has been set up for the process. However, the Lord Jesus Christ gave himself for our sins that he might deliver us from his present evil world. We no longer need a priest, team leader, or group to be accountable to.

I Peter 2:9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light.


It is said that the facilitator in a facilitated meeting will only help or assist you to get where you want to go. But in his guides or manuals, it says he will direct without leading. As director, only he knows where you are going. And he will use the surveys you answered to justify what he is going to do to you.

II Peter 2:1-2 But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction. And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of.

III John 11 Beloved, follow not that which is evil, but that which is good. He that doeth good is of God: but he that doeth evil hath not seen God.

Colossians 3:17-23 And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him. Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as it is fit in the Lord.
Husbands, love your wives, and be not bitter against them. Children, obey your parents in all things: for this is well pleasing unto the Lord. Fathers, provoke not your children to anger, lest they be discouraged. Servants, obey in all things your masters according to the flesh; not with eye-service, as men pleasers; but in singleness of heart, fearing God: And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men.


To: Those who know the process is indoctrination but nevertheless think they need encouragement. Just say no!

How To Oppose, Resist and Keep Your Sanity: Help in the process

Even though one knows the Total Quality Management process, it is still a most difficult process to participate in - unless you don't mind being manipulated. It is a situation that is even worse than being taught the art of compromise, because everyone is going to compromise to the standards of the facilitator who believes there is no right or wrong. Therefore if you allow the facilitator to lead you through the process, you will be led into sin. So the best advice to be given is simply 'don't participate.'

However, staying out of the process is a task of its own and most people find they could use some help. At other times, you may find yourself in the process when you didn't expect it or when you can't escape it. It's then that you need to be prepared to resist the process. Because others have beat the process, you may be assured that it can be done. (If you don't understand how the process works, you may want to read Accountability or Self Policing which explains the process and how it works.)

"Our first task is to correct that sloppy way of thinking,...No longer is it sufficient for (man) to just enjoy the privileges of a free society. He must learn what constitutes freedom, and the pitfalls that destroy it."

While it seems that the easiest thing to do is to simply state that 'it would be sin to participate' and just say 'no, I won't go,' it may not be that easy. No doubt, such a response will cause quite a stir among those who are promoting the process. The likely response is a nice friendly call from one of the promoters. He will attempt to get you into a dialogue regarding your objections to the process. Just what do you specifically object to? The easy and correct answer to this is: 'the process.' But then he will say that they don't do that process that you are referring to or he might ask you what you mean by process. Don't feel obligated to answer or define your words. After all, they are the ones bringing in a process that they refuse to define.

Remember, while there are a great number of processes in this world, they can all be defined. (Your doctor defines the surgery process that he is going to use on you, doesn't he? And doesn't he answer all your questions about the expected outcome?) It is only this process that is 'difficult to define.' (If they told, prior to the processing, what it was for, how it would work and the outcome - it wouldn't work well, because most Americans would be very unhappy if they knew the outcome.)

It is a good idea to repeatedly ask for definitions of words that the promoters are using, because with this process comes the redefinition of common words, and undefined new words. You may want to inform them that your words are defined in any dictionary. If they still seem to be confused, inform them that their new words are defined in facilitator training manuals and that they can get them from any college library. Be clear that you are not confused by the definitions, because you know what they are talking about.

If you have chosen the 'just don't go' route, you will want to make certain that you file your religious objection and stick with it. Don't cave in to pressure to go 'just once.' You can expect to be hounded about your objections. You do not have to explain your religious beliefs to them. However, you want to be certain that you are doing everything you can possibly do to be a good employee. Yes, you will probably be threatened with loss of your job. And you may want to prepare for another job. But you will likely want another job anyway. As a facts-based person who believes in absolutes, you will never be the excellent team player (not traditional western team, but newly defined team) that they are trying to cultivate. So you will be dismissed or demoted or your salary will be cut or not increased sometime down the road - whether you participate or not.

This is going to last for the rest of the life of your company, unless someone very near the top axes it. Don't expect that, because they were probably the ones who either got into the process somewhere else and liked it so well they decided everyone should like it. Or perhaps the company grew at such a rate as to make them feel incompetent and they went out looking for any help they could find and ran into TQM deceivers instead of good logical thinkers who actually know how to run a business. They are sold on it. They have publically committed to it. They will stay with it - unless a miracle occurs.

Facts will no longer get in their way. So it will be very difficult to carry on a logical conversation at times. "They have based their technique primarily on the complete abandonment of morality." So, they may tell you that they don't use consensus when it is written all over the training manuals. They may say you aren't being psychologically evaluated when the manual is full of psychological terminology. They may tell you that the group or team is keeping the written (psychological) surveys when you know the facilitator took off with some of them or had time to copy them. They may tell you the evaluations are private when you know they are now listed in employment files instead of medical files where they should to be filed. They may tell you they don't use facilitators or that the process really isn't TQM or any other lie they want. They may even offer to change its name. You will be dumbfounded. You aren't accustom to such deception - and they think you believe them! Perhaps this is deliberate to cause you mental distress. Perhaps they have been processed enough that they only think the end justifies the means. Perhaps they are brainwashed and have no clue what they are saying. The fact is - you won't know what the explanation is. So you'll just have to deal with it.

You'll have to play some games of your own, if you want to minimize mental distress. So you might want to pretend that they are senile. You know how to do it. Think about how it would be to visit someone who is senile. If your mother were senile and thought you were her boyfriend, you'd play along. There would be no point in trying to explain who you are. She wouldn't deal with reality; neither will the process promoters or facilitators. Play along with the charade when necessary and have a good time laughing about it later. Laugh often. It's good for the stress the process causes. Scott Adams' Dilbert comics and books will help you see the absurdities and humor in the process.

But there may be times when you just can't get out of the facilitated meeting or you unexpectedly walk into it. There are still ways to keep your common sense, your beliefs and your sanity. The most important things to you are: "Faith, convictions, clarity of mind, a closed mind, purpose, keeping one's mind busy, confidence,..." "A closed mind does not mean narrowmindedness or fanaticism. What it does mean is that you have already reached a conclusion on a specific matter in question and under the circumstances there is no earthly use in discussing it.... One doesn't have to prove himself objective or fairminded by discussing those matters."

Keep in mind that this process "consists of two processes, a softening up and an indoctrination process. Each of these is formed out of a set of different elements. ... No one of these elements alone can be regarded as brainwashing, any more than an apple can be called an apple pie. Other ingredients have to be added, and a cooking process gone through." If you cooperate at any point, you will not know at what point you have to jump out. You'll be peeled quickly, but you'll not know at which point you will become a pie or whatever the facilitator is preparing to make out of you.

If the process you encounter is at work, not trusting that you have a heavenly Father who can give you all the employment or income you need opens you up to the process of trusting the untrustworthy. Not only would you be allowing yourself to be put under unnecessary stress or tension, but you would also violate God's clear instruction to fully trust no one but Him. But even in other situations such as a political or religious setting, peer pressure may cause you to wander past safe boundaries. When the discussion starts, don't dialogue with them. Of course, this means the facilitator will single you out, because everyone has to participate in order for the process to work. But the facilitator can't manipulate you, if you don't give him information. This also means that you can't give private information (what you believe, think, want, do, etc) on surveys or questionnaires either. You can't be controlled if the facilitator can't find out what makes you tick. Don't allow him to size up your character.

They can't brainwash you either, if they can't first put your mind in a fog. So if anything smacks common sense in the face, accept that. There's a good chance that it's absurd or irrational. Don't try to rationalize it or get it to make sense. Ignore what you can and never go along with the irrational or undefined. Ask them lots of question that you know they won't or can't answer. If that fails, remember to pretend they're senile.

"Indoctrination in the majority of cases does not bring about true belief, but only submission. ... When the desired effect on the audience is achieved, the result is the same." So you can't submit to them, not even a little. A little submission leads to a little more and practice makes perfect. Of course, you aren't wanting to be perfectly indoctrinated.

The facilitator will be betting that you can't resist the peer pressure once you get in the group, because "(b)eing "antisocial" has become the cardinal sin in our society." So "(w)e have to again go back to characteristics of ours which made us, as individuals, say that what is right is right, and whether or not it is antisocial makes no difference."
